Vampire Baseball Night with the Seattle Mariners and Dazzled by Twilight

The Seattle Mariners, in partnership with Dazzled by Twilight, are hosting a Vampire Baseball Night at Safeco Field in Seattle Saturday, August 7th from 5:10 pm to 7:00 pm.  There will be a special merchandise table set up with all things vampire by Dazzled by Twilight.  This is your opportunity to purchase unique vampire-related merchandise from the most dazzling store in Forks, Dazzled by Twilight!  Learn more about Dazzled by Twilight’s special tours with in-character guides.

This event will take place in the Outside Corner (300 level behind home plate) at Safeco Field.  Discounted snacks, including garlic fries and red beverages will be available during this pre-game happy hour event for vampire fans only.  There will be a special appearance by the Forks High School cheerleaders.  Come dressed as your favorite vampire character to win prizes.  Even Vampires like baseball!

PopSugar: Can we expect to see Robert is Bothered at the Emmys?

Jimmy Fallon: Of all the bits on our show that we can do, we gave [the Academy] 10 different versions of all sorts of things we could do, to which they said these are all great, but we have to give out awards. So we have to cut it down to three bits. And Robert is Bothered was not in there. I pitched Robert is Bothered for Teen Choice Awards.

PS: How was Robert Pattinson to work with on Robert is Bothered?

JF: He was a great sport. He climbed up in the tree and did it with us. I’ve never heard louder screams in my life. The screams didn’t compare to anyone, even when Justin Bieber has been on. He was describing his movie Remember Me and people would just not stop screaming. And I was just thinking this is so cool. What an experience. I really hope he’s enjoying this ride. He’s a great guy and he deserves it. He was really shy and really happy — exactly the same backstage as he is on the interview. He’s a charming guy, but just really shy and I just hope he’s enjoying the moment. It must be super exciting to be him.

Fans Don’t See Pattinson on WFE Set, but Guess Who Does?

Rob chose the Vanilla Big Dipper, which is similar to a Nutty Buddy or sundae cone.

Their reasons for adoring Robert Pattinson may vary, but they’re all here for the same reason. They all hope for the chance to lay their eyes on the Twilight Saga star.

“I just think he looks cute,” Saddler Emory says.

“I love his eyes, they are gorgeous,” Destiny Johnson adds.

“We’re  just hoping to get a glimpse or if he’d say thanks for coming  or just wanted an autograph,”Samantha Johnson says.

It surely wasn’t for a lack of enthusiasm or patience. Some of these folks have been here since the wee hours of the morning when Channel 3 arrived. The storyline here is he filmed and snuck right out, under the noses of all these crooning ladies.

Johnson says she was disappointed, but not giving up.  She adds, “People were crying. One lady was furious.”

There is one local person who got to meet him: The “ice cream man.”

“He’s real nice, a normal person to me,” Tony Gross says.

Apparently Pattinson had a craving for a cool treat in the July North Georgia heat. So the ice cream man was summoned to the set. Pattinson’s choice?

“Vanilla big dipper,” Gross says.

A Vanilla Big Dipper is similar to a sundae cone. Some call it a nutty buddy.

Kellan at the TAG Heurer Odyssey of Pioneers Party July 29, 2010

To celebrate its 150th anniversary, TAG Heurer hosted invitation-only Odyssey of Pioneers event at a swank Malibu estate.  Kellan Lutz, plus other actors, such as True Blood leading actor Joe Manganiello, Johnny Galecki of Big Bang Theory and Tim Daly of Private Practice were in attendance. 

The Swiss watch-maker teamed up with the sports car company Tesla to create the TAG Heurer Tesla Roadster.  This one-of-a-kind car (pictures of Kellan in it are below) is fully electric and emissions-free, and is outfitted with a Heuer limited-edition one-fifth second stopwatch and a TAG Heuer Meridiist communications device. Additionally, a special console houses the ground-breaking TAG Heuer Pendulum Concept, a timepiece operated by the world’s first magnetic oscillator without a hairspring.  

“Tonight is a celebration of two companies committed to innovation and taking their respective industries to the next level of prestige and performance,” said TAG Heuer President and CEO Ulrich Wohn during his welcoming remarks to guests.

Kellan and the other guests enjoyed cocktails, including Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin, and previewed an exhibition of key historical and current TAG Heuer product that underscores the brand’s passion for remaining a leader of innovation in timekeeping.
